I went inside the New World Mall at Flushing to see what food they have at the food court. I came across this place called "Lanzhou Handmade Noodle" who make flavorful noodles and flavorful broth infused with herbs and spices. The noodles come in various thicknesses, affecting texture and slurping enjoyment. You can also watch skillful chef preparing the dough and hand pull the noodles. This adds more excitement to the dining experience by watching them while eating. I ordered the roast duck & ribs. It's so good! This place accepts CASH only. Definitely come check it out.

The noodles are always good. I love to get their beef noodles to-go and eat their jaijiang noodles. The noodles have a nice chew to it and elasticity. I took home the jaijang noodles once and it was a disaster; everything was clumped together. Most noodles and items are around $10 or less. They have quick service. Also, must get the hot oil, there are sesame flavor in the oil and enhances the noodle dishes. This is inside the food court, depends what time you go, it can be crowded or not.

Located in the back of New York Food Court, Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles is definitely the spot I hit when I'm craving hand-pulled noodles at an affordable price. It's not as good as the one in New World Mall but the prices are cheaper and they also have the unlimited chilli oil and mustard greens. However, the portion of the meat is pretty small for the amount of noodles. The meat is great though -- super tender. I can't speak for the flavor of broth itself since I always add extra chilli oil and pickled greens but I haven't had a problem with it. Also read some complaints about the staff being rude but I haven't personally had any issues with them. Could be because I don't really interact with them beyond ordering and picking it up once its ready. Service is fast and I typically get my order pretty quickly. TL;DR: Classic, affordable, and filling hand pulled noodles spot.

En route to a Mets game grabbing assorted eats-to-go in downtown Flushing. Entered the spacious New York Food Court and spotted Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles. Recalled that Lanzhou cuisine was similar to Xi'an and have been a fan of Xi'an Famous Foods since they opened years ago in Manhattan. With noodles potentially a difficult item to eat in the Citi Field stands, decided to order a $7 Lamb "Burger," also recalling Xi'an's tasty cumin seasoned ones. Similarly spiced and pieces of meat vs. a formed burger, Lanzhou's was absolutely flavorful, but the stiff bun, which reminded me of an extremely dense, untoasted English muffin, fought the meat. (See pic.) That being said, would definitely come back to try next time Lanzhou's hand pulled noodles.

SO GOOD AND SO CHEAP!! I got their #4 noodle (beef flank noodle soup) with an egg and it came out to $10.50. It came with a wonderful broth, really yummy noodles, and a decent amount of meat and bok choy. The egg was definitely worth it ($1 extra) as it was super flavorful. The lady running the cash register was a bit impatient/no frills, but I think that was to be expected. It's located in the food court of the New World Mall, which was pleasantly clean and spacious.

Great noodles! Only $8.50, so cheap but you get so many noodles!! The tea egg was FANTASTIC. Also came out within 2-3 min, it was so fast. The meal was solid, not amazing, but still pretty good

Life is Short, F....it up! Family, Friends, Flavor If you're ever in Flushing, go to the new world mall, go downstairs and you will find this place. Although it is a food court, it's a food court of all different types of Asian cuisine. They were pulling the noodles right in front of you and cooking each bowl With fresh noodles. I got the lamb hand pulled noodles for the soup. You know you're getting something special when you first put into the needle and you feel that texture and the chewing us with the other does able to absorb the flavor of the soup with every bite.

They have delicious soup broth and Chinese burgers stuffed with meat. The beef soups are amazing. The lamb soup is good too. Sometimes the broth might be a little salty.
